New Hobby Has Started!

I am now growing potatoes! To start, I had to do something called 'chitting'. You chit a potato by scratching off any shoots that are growing on it. Then you put the potato in a cool place. You need to point the brown patches towards natural light.

I put my potatoes on a plastic dish in a cold room and I will have to wait until March to plant them. Hopefully they will grow some nice, fresh shoots, so when I plant them they grow easily and quickly.
