How do I donate to charity?

It's very simple! Chose the charity you want to support (I have listed some I recommend below) and find their website. On most websites they have a 'donate' button that you click and donate a certain amount of money to that charity.

You can also look out for my bake sales/craft fairs as I sometimes make money for charity then.

List of charities to donate to:

  • Blue Cross- to help all the cute pets

  • Woodland Trust- preserve our woodlands

  • Wildlife Trust- nature deserves to be cared for

  • RSPCA- fight for animals

  • RSPB- protect birds and their habitats

  • National Trust- help preserve our historic places

Donating to the woodland trust:

Every time you donate £3 to the woodland trust they plant one tree! So you could just donate £3 to give them something that will help our woodlands for hundreds of years!

I did a bake-sale at our local greening fair and managed to raise £70 for the woodland trust meaning they could plant 23 trees; WOW!

What sold well? People loved my meringues! I would suggest them to be chewy, gooey in the middle and crispy on the outside!

Presentation? Food doesn't have to look perfect! Just make it as neat as possible!

What If I Only Raise A Small AmountEvery little helps! I recommend telling your customers about why you raising money for charity, I find it gets me more sales because people realise the importance of what your doing!

Helping Conservation:

  • I have donated £47 to the wildlife trust (bake sale)

  • I have donated £70 to the woodland trust (bake sale)

  • I have donated £1.50 to BlueCross (selling homemade cards to family when I was little!)

  • I have a Green Blue Peter Badge

  • I have donated £215 to Marwell Zoo's penguin flow cannon (sponsored swim)
