This post is to tell you all about Gilbert White (I am not going to go into to much depth but if you want to learn more say so in the comments).
Who Is Gilbert White?
This is the question I think most will be asking. Gilbert White was a naturalist. He studied nature and animals. He also liked to keep a diary of what he saw in his garden. He wrote small, simple diary entries about what happened in his life.
What Did He Write About?
He wrote about his nature encounters, the weather and his gardening. Gilbert liked to tend to his garden and plant vegtables. He would go and walk around his massive garden almost everyday and write what changed or what he found.

Gilbert White was born in 1720 and died in 1793
Gilbert spotted animals and plants in his garden
Gilbert wrote in a diary almost every day about his encounters
Gilbert White identified the noctule bat and the harvest mouse
He also found the difference between the willow warbler, the wood warbler and the chiffchaff as they all look very similar.
