Progress For Penguins: 4 (Challenge Completed)

I am very happy to say that over the last two weeks I swam 400m so now my total metres is 710m! It is now the 29th of June so officially the end of the swim challenge. I raised £225 and in total everyone has raised £14,000, wow! This means that Marwell Zoo can get the flow cannon with £4,000 extra! Thanks to everyone who donated to me on JustGiving and thank you for all your support!
For those who want to know when the videos I posted in the poll will be put on my blog, I have listed the dates below:
Galapagos Penguins: 7th July
Humboldt Penguin's Habitat: 15th July
Week Number | Amount Of Metres | Description | Total Metres: |
Week 1: | 110 | I was so pleased that I had managed to start the swim challenge! | 110 |
Week 2: | 130 | Just keep swimming! | 240 |
Week 3: | 70 | It was very busy in the pool, so it was hard to swim! | 310 |
Week 4: | 200 | Wow! | 510 |
Week 5: | 200 | I was mainly swimming using breaststroke but half way through this session I did backstroke! | 710 |
Week 6: | 0 (it was the end of the challenge) | Time to celebrate, it's the end of the challenge and we have reached our goal! | 710, whoop! Thank you to anyone who supported me on JustGiving! |
I am so happy that I managed to raise £225. I thought I would only manage to raise £30 or £50, in fact that was my goal. But I managed to go way over £100! I am very happy that Marwell Zoo's penguins get an amazing flow cannon!
