Grey Heron
Rushmere Pond
I found this magnificent grey heron at Rushmere pond. Usually the ducks would bob up to me quacking expectantly for food but instead of a mass of ducks I saw a grey heron and quickly snapped a picture.
Large Red Slug
South Downs
I found this large grey slug in a clump of grass next to the path that I was walking along. The large red slug can commonly have orange or grey on it instead of red. It can also have white or black but that is very rare.
Grass Spider
Rushmere Pond
This grass spider was on a clump of ivy attached to the fence pole next to Rushmere pond. It was speeding around on its web when it saw me but as soon as it was still I took a photo.
Young Roe Deer
Back Lane
These two roe deer were happily playing in the field and when I saw them I was in awe of their cuteness. I picked up my camera and took lots of photos but this one was the best.
Kestrel

Sitting right above my head was this kestrel. I snapped a few photos, trying to get the angle right to capture the beauty of this majestic bird.
